Reynolds Force Evaluation of Quasi-Coherent Structure by Tomographic Laser-Induced Fluorescence Spectroscopy
نویسندگان
چکیده
A new method of vector tomography by laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy is proposed for the evaluation velocity field quasi-coherent structure in linear magnetized plasma. Here, two-dimensional was reconstructed with measuring synchronization azimuthal reference probes and line-integrated LIF. The laser installation condition designed to move a radial direction perpendicular path. We applied flow obtained from direct numerical turbulence simulation demonstrated that Reynolds stress its force can be evaluated if maintained.

We report the first laser-induced fluorescence ~LIF! excitation spectrum of the ketenyl radical, HCCO, which is produced by the 193 nm photolysis of ketene in a free jet expansion. A series of vibronic bands in the B̃ P– X̃ A9 system are observed. The LIF band positions and rotational structures are in excellent agreement with those of a recent photofragment yield ~PFY! spectrum @D. L. Osborn et ...

Laser absorption spectroscopy (LAS) has been used over the last several decades for the measurement of trace gasses in the atmosphere. For over a decade, LAS measurements from multiple sources and tens of retroreflectors have been combined with sparse-sample tomography methods to estimate the 2-D distribution of trace gas concentrations and underlying fluxes from point-like sources. In this wor...

The application of tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) to flames with nonhomogeneous temperature and concentration fields is an area where only few studies exist. Experimental work explores the performance of tomographic reconstructions of species concentration and temperature profiles from wavelength-modulated TDLAS measurements within the plume of an axisymmetric McKenna burne...

This paper describes the first use of novel blue diode lasers to make temperature measurements based on fluorescence. As a demonstration of this principle, indium atoms were seeded as a probe species into flames and the resulting diode laser induced fluorescence allowed an accurate determination of the temperature at a point. This permits spatially resolved measurements to be made, which are im...
